Carillonez ! Dig, ding, don ! C'est Noël, la cloche chante. Mais las ! la neige méchante Couvre le joyeux bourdon. Bah! Ciel triste et chanson folle, Qu'en restera-t'il demain ? La neige fond dans ma main, Le Noël dans l'air s'envole ! Puisqu'on voit au même instant Jean qui rit et Jean qui pleure, Et que tous deux sont un leurre, A tous deux buvons d'autant ! O neige qui t'effiloches, Sème tes blancs papillons ! Carillonez, carillons, Eclats de rires des cloches !
