Das Lachen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Leert das Glas ihr Brüder!
Lacht, und leert es wieder!
Lacht bey jedem Trunk!
Lachen stärkt die Kräfte,
und versüßt die Säfte
und erhält uns jung.

Lasset jenem Alten
von gehehrten Falten
seine Stirne kraus:
wir sind hier und dehnen
unsre Züg' und Sehnen
fein durch Lachen aus.

Blöken ist der Heerde,
Wiehern ist der Pferde
Scherz und Lustigseyn,
Vögel können singen,
unter allen Dingen
lacht der Mensch allein.
