Canzone al Principe di Napoli
Language: Italian - Neapolitan (dialect)
La bella Margarita
A Napole è figliata,
Già tutta revotata
Se vede sta cetà!
Lo Prencepe che à fatto
È chiatto bello e ttunno,
Pare che miezo munno
Già già sè vò magnà!

Ebbiva Margarita!
Corrimmo ad alluccà!

La cara Principessa
Lu popolo vò bene;
Scordammo guaje e pene,
Aunimmoce mo ccà!
Sarrà mo chisto fatto
Na cosa troppo bella,
De Napole la stella
Pare che vo cagnà!

Nce songo state tante
A ddarce amaro ffele,
Ma mò co Manuele
Chi chiù nce vo pensa?
Lu latte da nutricera
È latte de Nevane
Chist' è Napolitano
De sango e core già!

Vesuvio, Mare e Sole
Faranno po lu riesto:
Currimmo tutte, prieste,
Mettimmoce a allucca
Ebbiva Margarita,
Ebbivo lu Nennillo:
No vaso a pezzechillo
Ve manna sta cetà!
