 Mieus qu'en celleque j'aim de fine amour,
 Car il n'a rien en li à repprochier,
 Eins est parfaite et souverinne flour
 De quanqu'il fait à dame de valour.
 S'en loe Amours d'umble volenté pure,
 Quant j'aim la flour de toute creature.

 Si n'en puis mais, se je l'aim et tien chier;
 Car il n'est maus, tristece ne doulour
 Qui se peüst en mon cuer herbergier,
 Eins suis toudis en joie et en baudour;
 Nès de penser à sa fine douçeur
 Preng soustenance et douce norriture,
 Quand j'aim la flour de toute creature.

 Et quant je vif en si plaisant dangier
 Que mon cuer maint en si noble sejour
 Et je la ser, sans muer ne changier,
 Tres loiaument de toute ma vigour,
 Certes bien doy amer l'eure et le jour
 Que je senti l'amoureuse pointure,
