Still an der kühlen Fluth
Language: German (Deutsch)
Still an der kühlen Fluth
Schlummert die wilde Gluth.
Kennst du sie wohl?
Rheinwein und reiner Wein!
Bist du ein Sohn vom Rhein,
Kennst du sie wohl!

Was in der Rebe gährt,
Hat sich zum Wein geklärt,
Feurig und rein.
Unter dem Rebenzelt,
Sitzen wir froh gesellt,
Drunten der Rhein.

Römer von grünem Glas,
Perlendes, goldnes Naß,
Seid mir gegrüßt!
Fremdling, o komm zum Rhein,
Willst du beherbergt sein --
Sei mir gegrüßt!
