Laublos schon steht der Wald, Schnee deckt die Höhn im Ost, Ach, was macht mein Lieb wohl im West, Vom Sturm umtost? Als fort sie ging, da stand Im Maien die Sonne, Ahnungsselig träumt ich Nur von Himmelswonne. Auf, ihr Winde, brauset, Jagt über Berg und Tal, Hin zu ihren Füssen Tragt all die Blätter fahl. Auf jedem Blättchen steht, Ach, des Armen Name; Sagt ihr, dass hier ich starb, Ach, im Liebesgrame!
