Winterlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich glaub' ich habe gar geträumt,
von Lenz geträumt auf dieser Heide,
wo alles trauert, start und säumt,
im Wintergrau'n, im Winterleide,
die Flur ist weiß, der Sturmwind tost,
es träumt kein Baum in diesen Räumen,
du armes Herz, auch ohne Trost,
laß du auch sein dein buntes Träumen.

Ich glaub' ich habe gar geweint,
geweint, rings um die Flur, die weiße,
wie töricht Aug' war das gemeint,
es wird die Träne ja zu Eise!
Es weint ja keine Quelle mehr
und keine Blume weint ihr Sehnen,
du armes Aug, so tränenschwer,
auch du laß' stocken deine Tränen.
