Die Erde steht in süssem Beben, Der junge Lenz zieht heute ein! Und mit ihm kommt ein neues Leben, Kommt Liebe, Glück und Sonnenschein. Es regt sich schon auf Höh'n, in Tiefen, Wie Brausen zieht es durch die Nacht, Viel tausend Knospen, die da schliefen, Zu neuem Sein sind sie erwacht. Da zieht wohl auch die Frühlingssonne Erwärmend ein in manche Brust, Weckt drinnen einen sel'ge Wonne, Von der sie nie bisher gewusst.
