Bølgeskvulp
Language: Norwegian (Bokmål)
Oppe på land er tummel og kav,
sinnet er trett og tynget.
Hist på det frie, frådende hav
alt blir med ett forynget.
Ånden får liv ved stormenes sus,
lytter berust til brenningens brus,
dukker seg ned i dypenes fred,
av mektige lengsler gynget.

Derfor, når mismot tynger ditt sinn,
og sorgerne står i stavnen,
gi dem til havets susende vind
og kast deg i bølgefavnen!
Hvittoppene gjør lystige hopp,
en dukker ned, mens en hopper opp.
Så uten stans som bølgenes dans
vugges vi frem til havnen!
