Doch im Gaden, laubumwoben, Klingt der Saiten Goldgetön, Und Herr Hiltbolt singt da droben -- Einsamkeit, wie bist du schön! Allen Winden will ich lauschen, Rauhem Nord und lauem Föhn, Waldesodem, Bergbachrauschen -- Einsamkeit, wie bist du schön! Und ein Wildschwan fliegt vorüber Südwärts in den blauen Höhn. Mir ist stille Heimath lieber -- Einsamkeit, wie bist du schön!
