Träume
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wirre Träume die mich so gequälet
die die Seele halten heiss umfangen
lasst mich los.

Die liebe Morgensonne hat ja
längst zu scheinen angefangen.
Lasst mich los!

Seid endlich doch zufrieden
Krallet nicht so fest
Euch in mein Herze
Habt die holde Hoffnung ja besieget
die mir sonst getreu im tiefsten Schmerze
Lasst mich los!

Bei hellem lichtem Tage Nachtgesindel
schliesst ihr scheu die Augen,
die ganz ungewohnt der Gottes Sonne
nur zu grauenvollem dunkel taugen.
Lasst mich los.

Hört ihr das süsse Lachen
das von nebenan herüber klingt.
Komm mein Liebling das dein sonnig
Auge all das Grauen dieser Nacht bezwingt.
