Mon être plane dans un rêve
Délicat et mystérieux
Dont l’ardente douceur m’enlève
Vers un pays plus beau que tout l’azur des cieux !

Ah! ton amour est pour ma vie
Plus que les bois et les flots verts,
Plus que la flamme rajeunie
Du soleil de printemps inondant l’univers !

Mon cœur brûlant au tien se mêle,
Mais l’un et l’autre inapaisés,
Nous voulons la joie éternelle
Dans l’échange infini d’innombrables baisers !

Le même enivrement embrase
Nos cœurs ignorant les sanglots
Et pareils, dans leur double extase
Aux couples d’Alcyons qui voguent sur les flots !
