Idylle
Language: French (Français)
Il est un vallon paré
De rose bruyère,
Un frais vallon parfumé
De verte fougère.
Dans cet aimable séjour
Je veux errer tout le jour
Et rêver à mon amour
Discret et sincère.

Il est un gentil ruisseau,
Chanson des prairies,
Qui coule sous le fluteau
Les menthes fleuries.
Il caresse les roseaux
Courbés sous leurs doux fardeaux.
Au murmure de ses eaux
Je pense à ma mie.

Il est un charmant berceau
Là, sous la ramée,
Où la liane à l'ormeau
S'est vite enlacée.
Ce nid propice aux heureux
Sous le seul regard des cieux
Entendra nos doux aveux,
O ma bien aimée !
