Das junge Rohr im Teiche starrt wie ein Lanzenwall, in den Weiden jubelt klagend die Nachtigall. Hinter den Ellern erblasset rosig die Abendglut, goldene Lichter zittern über die dunkle Flut. Goldene Lichter zittern über mein Leben hin, seit ich deiner Augen Leuchten begegnet bin.
