Night‑fall
Language: English
The woods and fields are still;
The night is calm,
Upon the silent hill
A dew-cool balm
Descends upon the lids of day.
The murmurs of the night
In drowsy flight
Rise ever,
Fall, and drift away.
Dreams are abroad,
And sleep is on its way.
