Frühling, Frühling, liebliche Zeit! Füllt das Herz mit Seligkeit. Ach, wie wird mir die Brust so weit! Frühling, Frühling, liebliche Zeit! Luft und Licht ist hell und klar, Vöglein flattern nun Paar um Paar, Und mein Liebchen trägt im Haar Blümlein hold und wunderbar. Hals und Nacken sind befreit Von dem neidischen Winterkleid, Und ich seh' nun, seit es mai't, Mehr von all der Lieblichkeit. Fort ist Winter und Verdruß, Eben spiegelt der Wiesenfluß; Blüthenhauch, und Kuß auf Kuß, Alles, alles ist Genuß! Horch, im Walde weit und breit Süßer Nachtigallen Streit.
