Das Schilf
Language: German (Deutsch)
Stille, er schläft, stille! stille!
Libelle, reg die Schwingen sacht,
Daß nicht das Goldgewebe schrille,
Und, Ufergrün, halt gute Wacht,
Kein Kieselchen laß niederfallen.
Er schläft auf seinem Wolkenflaum,
Und über ihn läßt säuselnd wallen
Das Laubgewölb' der alte Baum;
Hoch oben, wo die Sonne glüht,
Wieget der Vogel seine Flügel,
Und wie ein schlüpfend Fischlein zieht
Sein Schatten durch des Teiches Spiegel.
Stille, stille! er hat sich geregt,
Ein fallend Reis hat ihn bewegt,
Das grad zum Nest der Hänfling trug;
Su, Su! breit, Ast, dein grünes Tuch –
Su, Su! nun schläft er fest genug.
