Rothkehlchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Rothkehlchen singt im grünen Grund,
Hell tönt sein lustig Lied,
Als Herold macht's den Frühling kund,
Der durch die Fluren zieht.

Schnell hüpft dahin, vom Eis befreit,
Der Bach durch's blum'ge Thal,
Und grüßt nach banger Winterszeit
Des Lenzes Sonnenstrahl.

Mein Herz, sing' mit den frohen Gruß,
Der durch die Erde klingt;
Und hoffe, daß des Frühlings Kuß
Dein Glück zur Blüthe bringt.
