Kto žizn'ju chočet nasladit'sja
Language: Russian (Русский)
Kto žizn'ju chočet nasladit'sja,
Vesel'em každyj čas vstrečat',
Tot dolžen s Bachusom družit'sja
I rjumki čašče osušat'.

O nektar sladostnyj zabven'ja,
Kakich čudes ty ne tvoriš'?
Daeš' krylo voobražen'ja
I um i serdce v nas živiš'.

Mudrec za knigoj v kabinete
S toboj otvažnej vsech branit;
S prezren'em sudit on o svete
I vsech sebja umnee čtit.

Ne ty l' vlivaeš' chrabrost' v dušu?
S toboj i žalkij trus – geroj!
Letit na more i na sušu
I rad vstupit' chot' s čertom v boj.

Ty k bednym v chižinu prinosiš'
Vesel'e, radost' i pokoj;
Iz serdca grust', tosku ty goniš'
Gonimogo sud'by rukoj.

S toboj nam sladko vse i rovno,
Vse malym kažetsja v glazach;
I smert' vstrečaem my spokojno,
Derža stakan s vinom v rukach.
