O, ja ispolnil  povelen'e,

Ja voznosil moje molen'e
V chasovne devy presvjatoj:
Osushchestvit' putem chudesnym
Moi zavetnye mechty
I zashchitit' shchitom nebesnym
Tebja ot chernoj klevety.

Caricu serdca, dumy tajnoj,
Carice neba ja vruchil.
Molil, chtob dazhe vzdokh sluchajnyj
Tvoj junyj vek ne vozmutil;
Chtoby s toboju rjadom oba
My polem zhizni proneslis',
I perejdja granicu groba
V svjashchennoj vechnosti slilis'.
