Wie sie so sanft ruh'n, alle die Seligen! Als Gottestempel dienten die Leiber einst und ruhen sanft nun in den Gräbern, Saatkörner künftiger Auferstehung. Die Seelen weilen längst, wo die Klage flieht, wo Trennung, Schmerz und Trauer ist unbekannt, indes die Leiber unter Zypressen, bis sie der Engel hervorruft, schlummern.
