Die Liab is a Scharfschütz
Language: German (Lower Austrian)
Our translations:  GER
Die Liab is a Scharfschütz,
hat alleweil g'lad'n;
geh net zu ihr zuwi,
i möcht dir's net rat'n.

De trifft wia der Teuf'l
und eh'st es nur moanst,
hast d' Kug'l im Herzn,
obst lachst oder woanst.

Da schreit wol gar mancher,
der troff'n is, juchhu!
O du dalketer Kerl,
der G'foppte bist du!

Gar bald wirst es merk'n,
de Kug'l tuat weh,
uns merkst's net im Brautstand,
so merkst's in der Eh'!

D'rum liabts net, es Leut'ln,
i moans mit eng guat,
Denn Liab is a Scharfschütz
und trifft bis aufs Bluat!
