Stala se jest věc divná, panna syna porodila
beze vší strasti tělesně, tot' jest divné a nové.

Isaiáš prorokoval, Anděl Gabriel zvěstoval,
řka: "Zdrávas plná milosti, porodíš bez bolesti."

Pastu`kám se jest anděl zjevil a jim novinu pověděl,
že se narodilo dítě, jež vládne po všem světě.

Kdo slýchal divy také, by přijeli tři králové
od východu slunce k němu, dávajíce dary jemu.

Pros za ny matko Syna, by nám byla naše vina
milostivě odpuštěna pro Boží narození.

Daj nám pokoj a zdraví, hříchův také odpuštění,
jediný Synu matky, dada milost, odpust' vinu.
