by Daniel Fallström (1858 - 1937)

Visa i Juli
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Det är sommar, julisol,
honung doftar ängen,
syrsan gnider sin fiol
under blomsterhängen.
Fjärden blånar, gäddan slår
ibland vass i viken, svalans flykt från jorden går
in i solens riken.
Kom, min kära tag min hand,
det är livets månad,
trasten slår från andra strand,
sjunger älskogs trånad!

Månen stiger röd och rund
över stilla vatten,
och som flor kring gröna sund
sjunker julinatten.
Över taggig barrskogs rand
kvällens stjärna glimmar,
och i hennes silverrand
andkulln ljudlöst simmar.
Öga, slut din silkesfrans,
lilla hjärta, luta
dig mot mitt tills dagens glans
purprar österns ruta!
