À mes amis les oiseaux
Language: French (Français)
Que serait notre vie sans
le charme touchant
d'une douce harmonie
et d'un gracieux chant ?
Voyageur sur la terre
fatigué du chemin
quand je chante... j'espère
Ou bliant le chagrin.

Un contre temps m'arrête
Faut-il me rebuter ?
A vaincre je m'apprête
Et sais encore chanter
Ranimant mon courage
Le chant est à mon coeur
ce qu'est au vert bocage
du matin la fraicheur

La gentille alouette
Le rossignol des bois
La caille et la fauvette
font résonner leurs voix
Dans l'air de la prairie
J'ai me leur chant joyeux
Aussi toute ma vie.
Je veux chanter chanter commе eux !
