Es blühen die Linden
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es blühen die Linden,
es duften die Rosen,
es säuseln die Winde,
die Vögel, sie kosen,
die Falter, sie flattern
von Blüte zu Blüte,
und sonnig und wonnig
wird mir's im Gemüte.

Ich liebte dich innig,
du gabst es mir wieder,
doch traurig erklangen
zuweilen die Lieder;
sie kamen vom Herzen
so trostlos zum Sterben,
sie tönen nun wieder
von glücklichem Werben.
