by Apel·les Mestres (1854 - 1936)

Rialla d'abril
Language: Catalan (Català)
Avui quin riure el cirerer!
Tot vell com és, quina alegria!
De bon matí, que rialler
m’ha dat, en veure’m el bon dia!
Encà i enllà, quan he arribat
a cor obert ha estés les branques
i per la cara m’ha tirat
dues grapades de flors blanques.
No veus? –m’ha dit: ja torno a ser
lo que altre any i altre any solia...
Quin riure avui, el cirerer!
Tot vell com és, quina alegria!
I ha desgranat en l’arbre vell
un virolai, la pastorella,
amb alegroys de flor i ocell
i esbojarrada cantarella.
I m’he posat a riure amb ell
i m’he posat a riure amb ella!...
