by Gottfried Keller (1819 - 1890)

Am fliessenden Wasser
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ein Fischlein steht am kühlen Grund,
Durchsichtig fließen die Wogen,
Und senkrecht ob ihm hat sein Rund
Ein schwebender Falk gezogen.

Der ist so lerchenklein zu seh'n
Zuhöchst im Himmelsdome;
Er sieht das Fischlein ruhig steh'n,
Glänzend im tiefen Strome!

Und dieses auch hinwieder sieht
Ins Blaue durch seine Welle
Ich glaube gar, das Sehnen zieht
Eins an des andern Stelle!
