Gorestnyj val's
Language: Russian (Русский)
Veter volnuet kovyl',
Grustnoe vremja proročit,
Kružit vzmetennuju pyl' -
Dat' ej pokoja ne chočet.

Čto-to i ja zagrustil...
Vspomnil o bližnich, o dal'nich:
Pamjat', stučus' ja, - vpusti,
JA tvoj smirennyj pečal'nik.

Skol'ko dlja svetlych serdec
Otlito pul' molodeckich...
Gde ty zakopan, otec?
Na ostrovach Soloveckich?

Nado sud'bu prinimat' -
Tak už ot veka vedëtsja.
Tščetno ždala tebja mat',
Da i menja ne doždëtsja.

Vot i tomitsja s utra
Serdce sirotskoj toskoju.
Nas razdeljaet, sestra,
Gor'koe more ljudskoe.

Ždali vy - mat' i sestra -
Muža, i syna, i brata.
Kružitsja pepel kostra,
Dym uletel bez vozvrata.

Kružitsja pepel sedoj,
Mesjac nad noč'ju tak svetel.
Pyl' na doroge stepnoj -
Ėto duši moej pepel.
