Im Abendstrahle
Language: German (Deutsch)
Da oben im Abendstrahle
steht glitzernd des Liebchens Haus;
ich seh' es vom tiefen Tale,
und's Liebchen blickt lächelnd heraus.
Da glänzt mein Aug' wie die Sonne,
und tief jauchz' ich auf da drin,
dann blick' ich in stiller Wonne
zum glitzernden Häuschen hin.

Da oben im Abendstrahle
steht glitzernd des Liebchens Haus;
ich seh' es vom tiefen Tale,
doch nimmer blickt's Liebchen heraus.
Es tu'n wohl vom Sonnenschimmer
die Augen mir gar so weh',
dass ich muss weinen immer,
sooft ich hinüber seh'.
