by Franz Ludwig Evarist Alexander, Graf von Pocci (1807 - 1876)

Minnelied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Hei, wie springt mein Herz in Freuden
und in wonniglicher Minne,
dass vergangen alle Leiden,
weil gewandt sie ihre Sinne!

Da der Schnee die Heide deckte,
Wald und Fluren dürre lagen,
kein Gesang der Vöglein weckte,
blieb mir nichts als bitter klagen.

Nun der Mai mit seinem Prangen
siegesvoll ist eingezogen
und die Knospen alle sprangen,
ward ihr Herz auch mir gewogen.

Und ich sing' es nun zur Laute,
künd' es in dem Maienscheine,
dass ich die holdsel'ge Traute
nennen darf die eigen Meine!

Confirmed with Der Landsknecht von Franz Pocci, München, 1861.
