by Julius (Ernst Wilhelm) Stinde (1841 - 1905)

Das Singen und Musiziren
Language: German (Deutsch)
Das Singen und Musiziren,
Das hat mich ihnen entdeckt.
Nun haben sie mich genommen
Und unter die Pfeiffer gesteckt.

Die können nur eine Weise,
Die hat nicht Kunst noch Werth,
Ihr folgt der Junge und Alte,
Der Reiter mit seinem Pferd.

Einst sang ich frohe Lieder,
Von Liebens Lust und Noth,
Mun lock' ich die Kameraden
Mit Spiel und Sang in den Tod.
