Aubade pour Elle
Language: French (Français)
Choose for Diff
Dans le jardin tout parfumé
Des senteurs du doux mois de mai,
Sous ton balcon encore fermé,
        Quand tu t'éveilles,
Je te berce de mes chansons ;
L'aubade monte en joyeux sons,
Babillarde ainsi que pinsons,
        A tes oreilles.

Moins blanche que ton teint de lait,
L'aube, comme un esprit follet,
Se joue aux lames du volet
        De ta croisée.
Penche la tête innocemment
Et laisse voir à ton amant
La fleur de ton minois charmant,
        Dans la rosée.

Écoute les accords du chœur !
Parmi les rythmes, en vainqueur,
Tu l'entendras battre, le cœur
        Que je te livre ;
Il est en peine et vient quérir
Un médecin pour le guérir :
Tu lui diras s'il doit mourir
        Ou s'il doit vivre.
