under en himmel, tung av vilande moln.
Klar som guld drar den sin fasta ring
runt ett hav av mörknande dyningar rört.
Gråa, tunga vatten och luft och moln;
klar som guldhimlens yttersta rand.
Havet sorlar... Kvällens svartnade skär
tecknas i sot mot en synrand - klar som guld.
