Cançó de l'únic camí
Language: Catalan (Català)

Mira el mar de color blau
i la vela tota blanca:
anem-hi tots dos que allà
hi regna la benaurança.
Mes ai!, que en ser-hi arribats
el desengany ens fiblava:
ni vela ni blava mar!
il-lusió, on ets anada?
No és en terra ni en mar blau
la il•lusió que somniàvem,
només viu en nostres cors,
si som dos, l’un per a l’altre.

Song of the only route
Language: English  after the Catalan (Català)
Look at the sea of a blue colour
and the pure whiteness of the sail:
let us both go the place
where happiness reigns.
But, alas! When we got there
we were struck by disillusion:
neither sail nor blue sea!
Hope, where have you gone?
Neither on land nor on the blue sea
is the hope that we had dreamed,
it dwells in our hearts alone,
if we are together, one for each other.
