by Helen Taylor (1876 - 1943)

The everlasting love
Language: English
Every flower that blows
Tells us God is near,
Every breeze that blows
Whispers God is here;
Every rippling stream,
Dancing on its way,
Sings the same glad theme
All the livelong day.

He Who reigns above
Earth and sea and air,
God, Whose name is Love,
Dwelleth everywhere.

Though the sky’s blue dome
Be his holy shrine,
Yet He makes His home
In your heart and mine.
Cease that trembling sigh,
Dry that falling tear,
God is always nigh,
God, our God is near.

He Who reigns above
Earth and sea and air,
God, Whose name is Love,
Dwelleth everywhere.
