A letter from Sigmund Freud to Georg Groddeck (1866-1934) dated January 9, 1921.
1 refers to a psychoanalytic novel titled Der Seelensucher by Georg Groddeck. Groddeck is often called the founder of psychosomatic medicine. Freud credited him with naming the "id".
2 Sandor Ferenczi reviewed the novel in Imago, July 1921. Freud was an editor for this magazine.
