Ist die Zeit der Blumen schon vorbei?

War es das, was ich von Freuden träumte,
Als aus ihrem [goldenen]2 Pokal
[Lust und Fülle]3 mir entgegenschäumte,
[In der Jugendsonne hellem Strahl]4?

Laß doch, Herz, dein ungestümes Pochen!
Lächle ruhig, stürmendes Gesicht!
Blumen wie wir sie im Traum gebrochen,
