by Theodor Mommsen (1817 - 1903)

Wiederum lebt wohl, ihr Brüder
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wiederum lebt wohl, ihr Brüder,
noch ist's nicht zum letzten Mal.
Meine Lieder klingen wieder
Aus dem Wald wie aus dem Saal.

Dieser Straßen, dieser Gassen
Pflaster ist mir zu bekannt,
und ich hab' mir schenken lassen
wiederum ein grünes Band.
