und der dunkelgelockten 
Beistimmendes der Musen Eigentum;
Welche höret der Tanz, der Heiterkeit Anfang,
Es gehorchen aber die Sänger den Zeichen,
Den reigenführenden, wenn du Eingangs
Zögerungen machest erschüttert,
Und den scharfen Blick auslöschest
Des unaufhörlichen Feuers. Es schläft aber
Über dem Zepter Jupiters der Adler, den schnellen
Flügel auf beiden Seiten niedersenkend,
Der Herr der Vögel.
