Heimweh
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wo die Wälder Wache halten
um dein weißes Haus,
daß nicht wilde Sturmgewalten
toben ein und aus,

kommt auf weichen, schnellen Schwingen
öfter wohl ein Wehn,
darin ist ein süßes Klingen
und ein Glockengehn.

Heimatlieder, liebe, traute,
o, wie das doch singt,
Heimatglocken, tiefe Laute,
o, wie das doch klingt!

Über deine dunklen, dichten
Wälder wandert still
deine Sehnsucht, die zur lichten
fernen Heimat will.
