Ballada o korole
Language: Russian (Русский)
Zatyanut shelkom tronny'j zal!
Na vsyu stranu segodnya
Korol` dayot besschetny'j bal
Po milosti Gospodnej.

Kak i vsegda, korol` tam by'l
Galanten neizmenno,
I pered damoj preklonil
Vy'sokoe koleno.

Stary'j shut, pokosivshis` na zal,
Podnyal tonkuyu brov` i skazal:
«On vsegda posle bala veselogo
Vozvrashhaetsya bez golovy'.
Kak legko Vy' teryaete golovu!
Ax! Korol`, kak rasseyany' Vy'».

Zatyanut krasny'm tronny'j zal!
Na vsyu stranu segodnya
Narod dayot svoj pervy'j bal
Bez milosti Gospodnej.

Kak i vsegda, korol` tam by'l
Galanten neizmenno,
I pod nozhom on preklonil
Vy'sokoe koleno.

Stary'j shut, pokosivshis` na zal,
Podnyal tonkuyu brov` i skazal:
«On vsegda posle bala veselogo
Vozvrashhaetsya bez golovy'.
Kak legko Vy' teryaete golovu,
Moj Korol`, kak rasseyany' Vy'!»
