Wenn dein Herz wie meins schlägt, liebe Taube,
Tust du schon, was ich für tunlich glaube:
Kommst zu Pferd, zu Schiff, zu Rad, zu Füßen,
Die Geliebte wieder zu begrüßen!
Kommst gefahren oder kommst gegangen,
Die Geliebte wieder zu umfangen.
