by Naborre Campanini (1850 - 1925)

Oblio!
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Vivere teco, e da le verdi sponde
Del fiume riguardar,
Siccome l'onde incalzano l'altr'onde,
E vederle passar.

Veder nei vespri nubi di vïola
Per l'etere vagar,
Allor che il vento rapide le invola,
E vederle involar.

Veder le rose nel mattin fiorite,
E lasciarle languir;
Vederle a sera vizze e scolorite,
E lasciarle morir.

Vivere teco, inconscio d'ogni cura
Di feste e di dolor;
Vedere il riso della pia natura
E bramare il tuo amor.

Vivere ignoto al mondo ed in eterna
Oblianza con te,
Né mai sapere la vicenda alterna
De la vita qual è.

Vivere teco, ed osservar che l'onde
Passan le nubi e i fior;
E sol, fra tutte cose moribonde,
Eterno il nostro amor.
