Das Lied vom Glück
Language: German (Deutsch)
Mir tönt ein Lied im Sinn
aus längst vergangnen Tagen;
nimmt mich sein Zauber hin,
verstummen meine Klagen.

Das schönste Wunderland
seh' ich auf's neu erstehen
und dich am Waldesrand
an meiner Seite gehen.

Du singst mir jenes Lied
beim leisen Wipfelrauschen;
ich werde niemals müd,
dem süßen Klang zu lauschen.

Das Lied vergaß ich nie,
wie auch die Zeiten schwinden,
die holde Melodie
lässt mich dich wiederfinden.

[Sie]1 wird, mein Trost im Schmerz,
im Weltlärm mich umklingen
und schmeichelnd einst mein Herz
in ewgen Schlummer singen.
