Per formare la Bella
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Our translations: ENG
Note provided by Michael Rosewall: Due to an error in transcribing Scarlatti’s cantata from a manuscript held by the State Library of Saxony, some editors have incorrectly used the word “Betta” instead of "Bella" in the first line. Although this error has subsequently made its way into numerous editions and public performances, the original is “Per formare la bella ch’adoro.”
