by Friedrich Heinrich Oser (1820 - 1891)

Frühlingsglaube
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
  Sind kahl noch die Hecken,
Sind grün doch die Auen,
Und Vögel sich necken
So fröhlich im Blauen!

  Und fehlt's noch am Regen,
Ist blau doch der Himmel,
Und harrt an den Wegen
Der Knospen Gewimmel!

  Sind rauh noch die Lüfte,
Die Lerchen doch steigen,
Als wehten die Düfte
Schon rings von den Zweigen!

  Dein Harren und Hoffen,
Laß nimmer dir's rauben:
Noch immer steht offen
Der Himmel dem Glauben!
