As the crocus blossom
Language: English
As the crocus blossom listens for the sun And pushes skywards Through unyielding soil, So I in frozen solitude Slow as a tortoise, Creep on towards Spring. With hibernating heart Too safely stored, I dare not dream. But as the merry music Of your voice Stirs me awake, I brave the cold And turn to meet Your tender shoots of courage With a smile
