Druiventrossen
Language: Dutch (Nederlands) 
Door't wit van hitte woestenijezand,
zond ik mijn boden, Hoop en Liefde.
En trouw keerden zij weêr, luid juichend:
"Nu aanschouw de reuzendruiven van't beloofde land!"

Zwaar van belofte en rijp van hemeldauw,
trillende trossen in mijn trotsche hand.
vol levenswijn, waar zonnevuur in brandt
en purper schemert door het droomenblauw.

En spelend streel ik, heffend tegen't licht,
het koele, zoete, volgezwollen ooft,
de donzen druiven aan mijn aangezicht

En hand in hand, met opgeheven hoofd,
staan Hoop en Liefde in blijvolbrachten plicht,
wijzend naar't land, mij door God's wil beloofd!
