Möte i skymningen
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Möt mig i apelgårdens hägn,
förrn dagen från oss hastar!
Än mellan lätta blommors regn
den sina strimmor kastar.
Var är du kära, kära,
som nyss stod mig så nära
med hjärtats gyllne band?
Vad längtar du och anar,
där vemodsfullt du spanar
mot fjärran horisonter
i solnedgångens brand?
Säg får jag dig ej följa
på denna längtans bölja
hän till vår önskans land?
Nu ljuset hastigt tryter;
i natt sig dagen byter.
Tag, käraste, min hand!
